"Maggie has a spell-binding, intoxicating quality in her voice which is extremely distinctive - must be the Irish in her.....a rare thing in today's music world."
Bert Jansch

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website!

The last year or so has been very busy for me - gigging to support the release of Grace Notes' 5th CD for our 20th Anniversary, followed by my 3rd solo release, Won't You Come Away.  I also launched my Kitchen Songs project, which has resulted in a lovely archive of interviews and performances - as well as being subject of two radio programmes for BBC Radio Leeds. There is more to come when my schedule allows, and I look forward to that very much.

In the meantime, I am so happy to see the 'kids' - Joe Tilston, Molly Jones (with her partner, Lee Southall) and Martha Tilston - all out performing and creating beautiful music.

For the remainder of 2013, I will be performing at clubs & festivals with Paul Downes and Grace Notes - and hope to meet you along the way. A diary highlight is my U.S. tour with Paul in late June/early July. It's many years since either of us worked there, so that promises to be a treat - and a great chance to catch up with old friends.

Not forgetting my annual December jaunt with those mad fellows - Pete Morton & Chris Parkinson - on the Magical Christmas Tree Tour.

Thanks again for your support. Bye for now
